	Extreme Garden Makeover at Locke As part of California School Garden Week CSGN hosted an Extreme Garden Makeover at Locke High School on October 21. More than 100 volunteers planted seedlings, trimed trees and put the finishing touches on a school garden that this school and community have sustained over the years.

	Locke SLCs given formal approval. The Central Committee meeting of 10/16/06 gave all seven of Locke's SLCs formal approval. This now entitles every SLC to receive $12.00 per student.
